Practical Life
The purpose of the Montessori practical life activities is to promote independence and self-reliance through the acquisition of competence in many daily practical skills.
Sensorial
Young children learn about the world around them through the constant uses of all their senses. The sensorial materials and activities are designed to develop the five senses of the children.
Language & Phonics
A multi –sensory approach that combines phonics, stories and language experiences to bring meaning to the learning of reading and writing. Introduced through visual, auditory and touch impressions.
MONTESSORI MATHEMATICS
Our Mathematics curriculum is also built on the unique Montessori Method, which enables children to learn through exploration and discovery.
Cultural
The cultural education is to help the child develop his/her own personality, adapt to his/her own culture, and become an independent, useful member of his/her society.
Bahasa Malaysia
Bahasa Malaysia is taught in a systematic way as the children learn the language through a thematic approach and by the use of interactive games and fun teaching aids.
MANDARIN
Mandarin is taught in a systematic way as the children learn the language through a thematic approach and by the use of interactive games and fun teaching aids.
CHARACTER BUILDING
Values are important to the future of our children. We begin by modelling, teaching and practising them with the children in school.
EIE Science
For young children, science is an extension of their everyday world. We don’t have to teach children how to wonder because they learn it naturally. (engage, inquire and explore)
Music & Movements
Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness: intellectual, social emotional, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing children to music during early years help them learn the sounds and meaning of words.
ART & CRAFT
Self-expression and artistic creativity is strongly cultivated as the children experience forms of creative arts by using different art material that varies in textures, colours and design etc.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
As children naturally love to run, play and move around. The quality time spent in our spacious field and playground is crucial to their overall growth as they have a natural need to expand their energy.
LEARN THROUGH PLAY
Play is the most important element in our programs. Our Playgroup and Nursery’s “Learn through Play” teaching philosophy ensures that our children truly enjoy the learning process.
Water & Sandplay
Sand and water play holds a sensory experience and encourages manipulative skill. It also provides a soothing effect, promote concentration and leads to imaginative play.
Cookery
Through experiences with food, children as young as three years old can successfully learn the concept of eating a variety of foods from each of the five food groups.
ROLE PLAY
Role play is a very important part of a child’s education. The imagination is a powerful tool which as we know is innate in some children but needs encouraging in others.
